I love Jesus. I love Him, and all of His. Every new day that comes along, I arise with an eminent desire and heavy burden upon my heart that only grows stronger with each new rising of the sun. There is a need today for the people of God to not only be professing their Christianity and devotion to Him, but to be living it… displaying it… and not being afraid of shining their light because of the possibility of being noticed. That is what we’re here for! This is what we, as disciples of Christ, should be striving for every day in our walk to be more and more like Him. That is my desire, and if God can use me in some little way to touch the lives of people, possibly helping them to realize the kind of power in influence that they possess, then I wish to be prayerful and ready for His use.

My objective in making a blog was not simply to draw attention and receive a general flow of interaction; I actually weighed the idea of making this blog back and forth in my mind for several months, because i wanted to be certain of my motive behind it. I didn’t want to just write things in here that would entertain or fill in the wall space. This blog isn’t private; I want people to see what I write in here. I want to contribute my little bit of goodness into this huge cesspool of the Devil’s dark and perverted funhouse (aka internet) in an attempt to reach someone… maybe just one. We don’t have to worry about who hears us? That’s God’s job. We just make ourselves available for use, and He takes care of the rest. One soul is worth a thousand worlds, and oh how precious it is when they come in! What an honor it would be to given an opportunity to touch someone’s life. It’s a prayer of my heart every single day, and yet there are many Christians that seem to have lost this burden. Perhaps you feel secure in your own salvation; perhaps you’ve had an experience and are working towards your goal, which is ultimately to get to heaven. Yes, we all want to get there–I hope–but getting ourselves to heaven is not what we’re called to be doing. I am going to heaven one day, but until that Day comes, I want to take as many with me as I possibly can! That is the ultimate goal. I want to see you all there. In no way, shape or form do I have a desire to keep anyone from getting to heaven, and so I simply cannot, and will not, refrain ever again from spilling out His love in me for everyone to see.

This is a very dark time… the darkest of all history. There has never been a day in all of creation like today. But you know, as dark as it may seem, and as enormous as all of the evil in the whole world may seem in comparison to your little self and what you have to offer towards the making of His Kingdom, darkness can never overcome light. The darker the night… the brighter that little light will shine, no matter how small and awkward it may be. When light comes, all of darkness must flee. Just observe a sunrise, and you will understand 🙂
